In SINKING, players follow a wish in the form of a coin that has been tossed into a well. They travel through a visually and audibly appealing, constantly changing world and are guided through a reflective and thought-provoking narrative in a slow-paced experience. Being inspired by Krillbite’s The Plan this game focuses on evoking certain emotions, such as fascination or unease in the players and conveying a deeper message wrapped in metaphors, all while maintaining a certain level of interpretive openness.

About Me and Sounddesign


Although I originally come from a background in music, I soon learned to appreciate other areas of audio. At the age of 19, I completed an internship at a radio studio, where I learnt how to edit and cut audio, as well as direct and design shows. Although I had always been interested in special Foley sounds, it was only when I started studying musicology that I became more deeply involved with sound design itself.

Working full-time as a sound designer at the film production company Sons of Motion Pictures helped me to practise creating appropriate sound design for films and gave me insight into the possibilities of sound design by enabling me to create sound design for at least five recruitment/advertisement films. From 2022 onwards, I gained extensive experience working as an external sound designer on game student projects and regularly participated in game jams. Since September 2023, I have been studying Media and Game Design in Wernigerode to gain further experience in sound design for games. While finishing my master’s degree, I’m thrilled to have been the sound designer for over 10 game jams and five polished student games.
